Who We Are
We buy, personally operate, and grow exceptional businesses
Baron Avenue exists for a sole reason: to acquire one exceptional U.S. business and personally operate it for the long haul, giving it everything we’ve got.
Like you, we're hard workers. We're entrepreneurs.
We believe in showing up early, staying late, and doing whatever it takes to get the job done right. We’re not afraid to get our hands dirty, dig into the details, and stand shoulder to shoulder with the people who make the business run.
We have a deep respect for the owner’s journey and everything it took to build the business. Vincent Wanene will relocate, step in as CEO, and pour his full energy into leading the company every single day.
We’re here to protect your people, serve your customers, and build on your legacy with the same grit and determination that got it here.
We’re not venture capital, and we’re not private equity.
Let us show you why we're different.

Meet Vincent
"Entrepreneurship is the relentless pursuit of opportunity without regard to resources currently controlled" — Howard H. Stevenson
Vincent Wanene is the son of Kenyan immigrants who came to the U.S. for higher education. While his parents worked long hours to get established, he spent his early years being raised by his grandmother on a small farm, where he learned that real work means showing up, following through, and taking care of the people who depend on you.
Over the years, Vincent has worked alongside leadership teams in the U.S. and Europe to buy, grow, and run businesses in industries like hospitality, healthcare, telecom, and essential services. He has built his career at top investment firms and financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank, Lazard, and PAI Partners, where he partnered directly with business owners and management teams to strengthen operations, grow sales, and build lasting value.
Most recently, as part of the founding team at Temerity Strategic Partners, a Chicago-based real estate investment business, he helped build partnerships with seasoned operators to acquire, improve, and manage real estate assets in high-growth U.S. markets.
What has never changed is Vincent’s deep respect for business owners and the responsibility they carry. He listens first, values the people who make the business run, and treats what you’ve built as if it were his own.
Educated in France and the U.S., Vincent holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School, a Master of Science (MS) in Finance and Strategy, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from Sciences Po Paris.
A passionate traveler who has explored more than 50 countries, Vincent is also a USPA Certified Solo Skydiver and a PADI Divemaster — equally at home under the water or 10,000 feet in the air.
Baron Avenue is his next chapter: to acquire one exceptional business, step in as CEO, and lead it for the long haul with the same care, loyalty, and dedication you’d expect from family.
Meet the Team
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
When you sell your business, you want it in the right hands. Hands that know what it’s taken to get here and will protect what you’ve built. Baron Avenue is backed by seasoned operators, entrepreneurs, and investors from the U.S. and internationally who have walked in an owner’s shoes.
They know what it’s like to spend years building a business, to pour your energy into serving customers, and to push through challenges that test your resolve. Many have built and sold businesses themselves, so they understand this isn’t just a deal. It’s the handoff of something deeply personal.

Together, they bring decades of experience buying, running, and growing successful companies across a wide range of industries. Many have served on boards and led teams through major transitions, giving us access to hard-earned insights, trusted networks, and practical know-how that only comes from being in the trenches.

They also have the financial strength to give you certainty, with the ability to fund acquisitions up to $100+ million and support growth for the long haul. This combination of deep pockets and hands-on expertise means that when we acquire a business, we have the resources, guidance, and staying power to keep building.

When the time comes, you can feel confident knowing your company will be in the hands of people who value your work, respect your legacy, and are committed to carrying it forward the right way.
